COVID Update: October 13, 2020

Our current schedule of services at the building is as follows:

Sunday Morning Bible Class - 9:00 AM

  • We have classes for nursery through high school.

  • We have a single adult Bible class in our Family Life Center: Songs to Live By: Encouragement from the Psalms. The Psalms is an ancient collection of songs that convey every human emotion in every kind of circumstance. As we experience disorder and chaos in life, the Psalms direct our hearts to God who listens and calls us to remain steadfast in his mercy.

Sunday Morning Worship - 10:00 AM (nursery available)

We have made tentative plans for resuming multiple adult classes on Sunday morning and Wednesday evenings in our Winter Quarter:

  • December 2: resume Wednesday evening classes

    • Ladies Bible Class: Get Out of Your Head: A Study of Philippians. Are your thoughts holding you captive? Our enemy uses our anxieties and fears to overwhelm us and render us helpless. In this class our ladies will study how we can submit our minds to Jesus and have the peace that surpasses all understanding.

    • Adult Bible Class: Out of Exile: Haggai, Zechariah, and Malachi. This year has felt like an exile of sorts. The people and places that give us meaning have been separated from us. As we adapt and begin to emerge from this pandemic-exile, we will listen to the voice of God from the prophets who call us to action and encourage devotion to God.

    • Teach the Teacher: The Epistle to the Ephesians. This is a class for our Sunday morning adult class teachers and those interested in teaching that explores the Scriptures together in preparation for our Sunday classes.

  • December 6: resume Sunday morning multiple adult Bible classes: Ephesians: Racial Division and Gospel Reconciliation. Culture, class, and race reveal our tendency toward division. In his Epistle to the Ephesians, Paul calls our attention to a mystery: Jews and Gentiles can be part of the same body. The world divides but the Gospel unites by the blood of Jesus, who is our peace. Starting December 6, we will listen to God’s Word in Ephesians, particularly as it speaks to the racial division in our country.

Masks are currently required at all gatherings in our facilities.
