Welcome. It is my pleasure to introduce you to our church! You’ll discover that our mission is to provide a place where people just like you can have a life-changing experience with Jesus.
At the Goodman Oaks Church of Christ our hearts and doors are wide open to people from all backgrounds, regardless of where they are on their spiritual journey. What people usually notice first about us is our passion for Jesus. We are passionate about preaching, teaching, and sharing Jesus. Jesus has saved us, he is transforming us, and he will return to take us home. As we focus on Jesus we have discovered that he infuses our lives with his transforming love and we have also discovered Jesus enables us to grow in love for others.
At the Goodman Oaks Church of Christ we seek to be both faithful to Scripture and effective in ministry. Together, we are striving to become the kind of church described in the Bible. A church where there's relevant teaching that is based on the eternal truths of Scripture. A church where there is deep and honest worship of God, where there is sincere friendships, persistent prayer, and compassionate care for those in need.
So whether you're a spiritual seeker who's just starting to ask questions about God, or a committed Christian who wants to sink the roots of your faith in Jesus even deeper, you can find a home here at the Goodman Oaks Church of Christ.
May Jesus bless you.

UPDATE FROM KEN JOINES: PRAYERS ANSWERED
I saw my Oncologist today and had the CTScan. Thirty minutes later his first words were, "Your Scan looks just wonderful.....it is all clear.......the lymph gland that we were aiming at has now shrunk a total of 75% (down to 7 cm) and this means it really isn't considered enlarged any longer, but is down to normal size." He has decided to wait four months to do the Pet Scan. This allows a little more time for all the radiation to dissipate and will make for a more definitive Pet Scan. He said, "We can now just hope and pray and expect this to continue to get better and better until it no longer exists."
