Important Announcement
from your Shepherds
We are very excited to be coming back together for in-person worship this Sunday, September 26, at 10:00 AM. We would again like to thank our church family for your patience during our time of being exclusively virtual and pray for us as we begin this transition to in-person services and activities. We are not ready to restart in-person Bible classes on Sundays or Wednesdays safely but for the time being we will continue having a Sunday Bible Class via Zoom (now at 5:00 PM on Sundays) and a Wednesday Prayer Meeting via Zoom at 6:30 PM. The Sewing Class will resume on Monday September 27 at 6:30 PM and Encouragers class will resume Tuesday, September 28 at 10:00 AM. We are not having Sunday evening service in-person at this time.
We strongly encourage you to wear a mask to all in-person gatherings, get vaccinated, and practice social distancing. The pews are taped off to encourage social distancing. If you are unable to be present please take advantage of our live stream service via YouTube or Facebook or telephone.
None of this is an ideal situation but we are choosing to restart this way out of love and care for the vulnerable. In the Parable of the Good Samaritan, a man is beaten, stripped, robbed, and left for dead. The attitude of the robbers is, “What’s yours is mine and I am going to take it. If you die, you die.” The priest and the Levite who saw him had this attitude: “What’s mine is mine and I am going to keep it. If you die, you die.” The attitude of the Samaritan was, “What’s mine is yours because you need it. If you die, it won’t be because I did nothing.” Out of love for your brothers and sisters, we urge you all to please wear a mask while inside the building. You could be saving someone’s life.
Let’s all do our part to make our assembly safe for all who can attend.
We love you and can’t wait to worship with you this Sunday.
